Francis "Frank" Kelly,77, of Smithfield and formerly of Cumberland passed away Friday, August 2, 2013. He was the husband of Jacqueline (Gagnon) Kelly. They were happily married for 57 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Francis and Margaret (Fielding) Kelly. \r

Mr. Kelly worked for General Motors for thirty years, retiring in 1989. He was a bus driver for the Cumberland School Department for fourteen years. Frank was a longtime member of Lincoln Country Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Susan Opiekun and her husband Robert, Michael Kelly and his wife Christine, and Lori Chadwick and her husband Mathew. He also leaves five grandchildren ; Brian, Kristin, Zackary, Mathew, and Kyle. He was the brother of the late Bernard Kelly and Margaret Reakes. \r

The funeral will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 9am from the O'NEILL Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-7pm, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in memory of Frank, would be appreciated.
