William E. Wall III, 78, of Cumberland, passed away Thursday, February 3 rd after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Donna (Delorme) Wall. They were happily married for 17 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Duggan) Wall. He had lived most of his life in the Seekonk, MA/Cumberland area until his marriage to Donna in 2005. Since then, they have maintained homes in Cumberland and Virginia Beach. William graduated from Saint Raphael Academy in 1961 and Providence College in 1965. He was employed by several food companies as a sales manager in the Northeast. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant in the US Army Reserves during the Vietnam War.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Tracey Read and her husband Bradd and grandchildren Amanda and Zachary, daughter Jennifer Wall and her husband Brian Boucher and step-grandchildren Toni Marie, Meghan & Ashley. He also leaves his step-son, Patrick Hanson and his wife Sharon and his grandchildren Julie & Patrick. He also leaves his sister Kathleen Wall and his brother, Daniel Wall.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, February 7 th at 10 AM in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 3-5 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland. All guests are requested to wear face masks at the funeral home and the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations to American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association , in memory of William, would be greatly appreciated.
