William H. Potter, 88, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully after a long illness Monday, December 18, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Janice (Bush) Potter. Born in Newport, RI, he was the son of the late William H. and Catherine (Philbin) Potter. He was an air force veteran of the Korean War.

Besides his wife, he is survived by six daughters, Lynn Daley, Karen Tuttle (Jay), Mary Rucker, Julie Dennis, Kim Chartier (Scott), and Judi Kinney (James). He also leaves seven granddaughters, two grandsons, six great grandsons, one great granddaughter, and his brother Michael Potter. He was the grandfather of the late Bryan Rucker Jr. and the late Brendan Chartier. He was the brother of the late Catherine Brown and Alfred Potter.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service Friday, December 22nd at 12:30 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. A burial with military honors will follow in RI Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 11 AM – 12:30 PM, prior to the Service in the Funeral Home.
