William J. Cioci, 80, Coventry and formerly of Cumberland, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by his family and his dog Marshmello, Saturday, December 6, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Sandra L. (Surowiec) Cioci. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Luba (Kolen) Cioci. William was a navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for Paramount Restaurant Equipment for many years, retiring in 2001. Billy and Sandra lived in Palm Bay, Florida for eleven years before returning to RI in 2018.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, James Mucci and his wife Joyce, Sharon Higgins and her husband Steven, and Cindy Brillon and her husband Roger. He also leaves six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was the grandfather of the late Michael Mucci.

The funeral and burial will be private.
