William J. Arundale, 74, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 08, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie (Da Cruz) Arundale. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Edwin and Rose (Donnelly) Arundale. William was an army veteran of the Vietnam War. He then worked for the US Postal Service as a philatelic Collection Clerk for 36 years, retiring in 2012.

He is survived by his children, Donna Houle, Joanne Cavanaugh, Lisa Furtado, Dolly Nichols, and James Baptista, his brothers, Harry Arundale, John Arundale, Gilbert Arundale, Michael Arundale, and Kevin Arundale. He also leaves his sister, Rosemary Joy, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Edwin Arundale, Florence Greaves, and Patricia Fagundes.

The funeral will be held Monday, May 16, 2022 at 9 AM from the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in Saint Mary Church, 103 Pine Street, Pawtucket. Burial with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI.

Visiting hours are on Sunday from 2-5 PM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home.
