Wilfred H. Moreau "Sandy", 80, of Cumberland and formerly of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Anna (Barby) Moreau. Wilfred had lived most of his life in Woonsocket before moving to Cumberland.

He is survived by his children, Joseph Moreau and his wife Debbie, Cheryl Ann Moreau, and Christine Cruise and her husband James; his sister, Winifred Krajewski, and his brother, Donald Moreau. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Sophie, Stephanie, Nathalie Durrieu, Lily and Emma Cruise, Joseph and Maximillian Moreau, as well as two great-granddaughters, Victoria and Romy. Sandy also leaves many extended family members and many friends, especially Mike and Lee.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 16th at 10:00 AM in Saint John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.

Visiting hours are on Sunday, October 15th from 3:00-6:00 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Lung Association of RI, 260 West Exchange St., Providence, RI 02903, in Sandy's memory, would be greatly appreciated.
