Volodymyr Bezus, 85, of Pawtucket and formerly from Ukraine, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Thursday, January 12, 2023.

He was the beloved husband of Riolama (Kargina) Bezus. Born in Ukraine, he was the son of the late Phiodor and Marianna (Bilchik) Bezus.

Volodymyr was a Professor of Music in Sumy Music College (Ukraine) before moving to the United States.

Besides his wife, he leaves two children, Natalya Goncharova and her husband Konstantin, and Bohdana Bezus; three grandchildren, Kirill Goncharov, Lilia Goncharova, and Inna Yerofeyeva; and two great-grandchildren, Alexei Goncharov, and Alistair Goncharov. He also leaves his sister, Valentina Omelchenko.

The burial will take place at a later date in Ukraine.
