Vito Giberti,99, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 8, 2012. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Ciutti) Giberti. Born in Genoa, Italy, he was the son of the late Enrico and Edvilda (Reverberri) Giberti. \r

A lifelong resident of Providence, Mr. Giberti was a pharmacist for the Claflin Company for many years, retiring in 1998. \r

He is survived by three children, Elaine Blais, Marilyn Caprio, and Robert Giberti, three grandchildren, Christina McDade, Michael Giberti, and Elizabeth Afonso, and four great-grandchildren, Jacob Afonso, Krysta Afonso, Matthew Giberti, and Emerie McDade. He was the brother of the late Edward Giberti and Theresa Guintoli. He was the grandfather of the late Russell Blais and Anthony D''Errico. \r

The funeral and burial will be private. \r
