Virginia A. Caputo, 81, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 22, 2025. She was the longtime companion of Frank L. McVay. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Guido and Giovannina (Recchia) Caputo. Virginia was a legal assistant for the State of Rhode Island for twenty years, retiring in 2009.

Besides Frank, she is survived by her brother, William Caputo, two nieces, and a grand nephew. She also leaves many close friends

The funeral will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 9 AM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM  in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Tuesday from 5-7 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home.
