Obituary

Thomas Beaucage Sr, 85, of Rumford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Born in Pawtucket on July 28, 1939 Tom was the son of the late Arthur Beaucage Sr. and the late Antoinetta (Deluca) Beaucage. He was the loving husband to Marie-Rose (Terrien) Beaucage for 65 years. Brother to his late siblings Arthur "Charlie", Albert and Joseph Beaucage, Ralph Jr. and John Rescigno, and sister Ida Hill.

Besides his wife Marie, Tom is survived by their five children. Thomas Beaucage Jr (and wife Deborah), Tammy Heroux (and husband Richard), Lynn Fernandes (and husband Pedro), Debra Cano and Lisa Miller.

And grandchildren Kristi (and husband Pedro), Kendra, David, Thomas III (and wife Mackenzie), Carla, Tara, Amy, Christopher, Ruben, Katrina, Brady, Wes, and step grandson William Jr. (and wife Christine).

Also, great-grandchildren Aria, Easton, Jordan, Bear, Isabel, Vera, Julia and step great- grandchildren William III and Jenna.

Through the years, Tom worked his way up from a young man working in shipping rooms at Fiberglass and then at Health-Tex, receiving various promotions including Operations Manager, to eventually co-owning Beau Bros Warehouse with his brother Al. He generously shared his success by sponsoring several local sports teams and also two race cars at Seekonk Speedway. Prior to his retirement he was always happy to employ many family members and friends throughout the years.

Those who knew Tom will remember that he had a great sense of humor and left us with many funny stories and memories to share. He had various hobbies throughout his life that he enjoyed with his wife and family. In his younger years he coached his son Tom Jr. and his basketball teams at St. Mary's School. Tom loved playing cards and having cookouts with extended family members and friends. He also enjoyed participating in bowling leagues, fishing, vegetable gardening, raising/breeding tropical fish, and weekend camping at Wawaloam Campground. His favorite thing to do was to go to Foxwoods Casino to play the slot machines. He always had an extra pep in his step while at the casino. His family called it his Foxwoods walk and they loved to see it. Tom was also very attached to his dogs Eddie, Rosie and Coco. They meant a lot to him and broke his heart when they aged and passed away.

One of Tom's greatest joys was his close family. His adult children are so thankful for the love and happiness their parents provided to them and to their children as well. Always celebrating the holidays, birthdays and hundreds of other fun times all together as one big family at Nana and Papa's house. Tom will forever be loved and missed by his family.

The burial services will be private.
