Thomas W. Nolan, 85, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 21, 2024. He was predeceased by his loving wife Claire (Sylvestre) Nolan. Born in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Amanda (Capistrand) Nolan. Tom was a machine operator for Carol Cable for many years before retiring.
He is survived by his children, John and Julie Nolan, Thomas and Jill Nolan, Michael and Roberta Nolan, Tina and George Prive, and Kimberly and John Dunn. He also leaves ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and some very close friends. He was the brother of Teresa Perry, Anne Nolan, and Patricia Nolan.
Tom enjoyed many sports such as golf and bowling but especially loved the game of chess, playing and teaching others to appreciate the game.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Thursday, February 29th at 1:00 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, prior to the Service in the funeral home. The burial will be private.
