Thomas Albert L'Heureux, 73, of Cumberland passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 23, 2024. He was the beloved husband of 47 years to the late Alice Jean (Hurley) L'Heureux. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Albert and Jane (Costello) L'Heureux.

He was an information technology professional at Princess House for many years before retiring. Thomas was an avid photographer and was always one to capture great memories and beautiful scenery on vacations with family and friends. As a caring father he never missed a dance recital or softball game for his two girls. Thomas was overjoyed to become a pépère to his two grandchildren. He was never one to miss a great action film or the latest sitcom. Those who knew him and strangers alike were always greeted by his warm smile.

He is survived by his children, Alison O'Brien and her husband Colin of Cumberland, RI, and Angela Hemmila and her husband Aaron of Marstons Mills, MA. His beloved grandchildren Calvin Thomas O'Brien and Margeaux Hemmila. He is also survived by his sister Carol Carroll and her husband Bernard of Cumberland, RI. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with great nieces and great nephews. He will also be fondly remembered by several lifelong close friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, July 31st at 10:00 AM in Saint John Vianney Church, 3587 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, July 30th from 4:00-7:00 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
