Therese Lussier (Plasse) of Cumberland, age 89, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of Alfred A. Lussier. Born in Woonsocket RI, she was the daughter of the late Bertrand and Florence (Phaneuf) Plasse.

Terry worked as a Stitcher for Narragansett Knitting for over thirty-five years. She was also the joint owner of EZ-Dumper & Sales for twenty-five years. Terry was involved with many community events such as the Assistant President of the Muscular Dystrophy Association of the Woonsocket Chapter and Co-Vice President of DECA at Cumberland High School.

Terry enjoyed family time with her children and grandchildren, whether it was camping, playing Tripoli cards, cooking or just quality time talking and laughing. She was an avid sewer, gardener, bird watcher, and cross country traveler with her beloved husband. She also enjoyed hanging with her sidekick Border Collie, Leddy.

She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years; her five sons David, Jean (Adele), Joel, Gary (Beth), and Wayne; and four daughters, Debra, Janice (Morris), Donna (Lucien), and Lori (Kevin).  She also leaves her twenty-one grandchildren; Jamie, Corey, Christy, Angela, Cassie, Quentin, Ian, Rebecca, Danielle, Joshua, Cory, Gabrielle, Cody, Sadie, Dakota, Cassandra, MacKenzie, Hunter, Kyle, Tyler, and Alexandra. As well as her eighteen great-grandchildren; Dante, Brayden, Conor, Ashley, Isabella, Kelcy, Madison, Dylan, Gulianna, Kammy, Diem, Julian, William, Mia, Easton, Emelia, Grayson, and Owen. She is predeceased by her sister Aline Richard, brother Robert A. Plasse, son-in-laws Paul and Vincent and daughter-in-laws Cher, Tina, and Jacqui.

A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
