Theresa A. (Simonelli) Dixon, formerly of Pawtucket, passed into eternal rest on August 23, 2023 at the age of 101 years. She was the wife of the late James Dixon, and mother of the late James Dixon Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Donna M. Bagian and her husband Alan of Chepachet and her son William M. Dixon and his wife, the late Linda Dixon of Cumberland. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and their spouses, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Dixon was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Michele Simonelli and Guiseppina (Bertoncini) Simonelli. She was a manager's secretary at New England Telephone for many years. Theresa was a communicant of St. Luke's Episcopal  Church.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a funeral service for Theresa on Tuesday, August 29th at 10:00 AM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Her calling hours will be on Tuesday from 9:00-10:00 AM prior to the service.

Her graveside burial will be with her husband James, in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
