Susan E. (Evans) McClain, 67, of Rehoboth, Massachusetts and formerly of Lincoln, Rhode Island, passed peacefully into eternal life on December 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving children, Patrick and Katherine.

Sue grew up in Rehoboth, MA, the daughter of the late Thomas Evans and Muriel "Mitzie" (Kinney) Evans. She is survived by her children, Patrick McClain and his fiancee Megan Kelley of Riverside, RI and Katherine Williams and her husband Geoff of Wilton, Maine, as well as her granddaughter Fern Williams, and her former husband Donald McClain. She also leaves behind her brother Dave Evans and his wife Jenay of Seekonk, brother Pete Evans and his wife Lisa of Providence, nieces Kara Evans, Katie Goldman, Kelly Evans, Sara Evans, Alyssa Lach, Kirsten Evans, Hannah Evans, Emma Champagne, Maggie McClain, and nephews Thomas Evans, Michael Evans, Robbie Champagne, and Nolan McClain. Sue was preceded in death by her brother John Evans and his wife Penny.

A dedicated mother, talented musician, and devout Christian. Sue enjoyed bringing people together through music. Sing a song in her honor!

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Memorial Service for Susan, on Saturday, January 17th at 11:00 AM in the Rehoboth Congregational Church, 139 Bay State Road, Rehoboth, Massachusetts.
