Susan N. Martin's Obituary
Susan N. Martin, 57, of Cumberland, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Glen P. Martin. They were happily married for 28 years. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Dolores (Charron) Landry and the late Joseph Landry. Sue was a human resource recruiter at Providence Community Health Center. For 25 years, she was a technical engineer for Verizon. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughters, Tara and Julia Martin. She also leaves her sister, Diane Landry and her husband, Councilman Lorenzo Tetreault, and her sister-in-law, Linda Landry. She was the sister of the late Stephen Landry. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9AM from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday from 4-7PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Providence Community Health Center, 375 Allens Avenue, Providence, RI, 02905, in memory of Sue, would be appreciated.
