Stuart J. Gast of Pawtucket, passed into eternal life on July 8, 2023. Stuart was born in Newport, Rhode Island, the son of the late Richard O. Gast Sr., and Lauretta (Gauthier) Gast. Stuart was also the father to the late Stuart J. Gast, Jr.

Stuart was a commercial appliance technician for many years.

Stuart is survived by his devoted sister, Dawn Gast and his loving brothers and wives, Richard and Lillian, and Gary and Carol. He also leaves his nephews: John Richard Gast and Daryl Gast, and his nieces: Tara Calise and Lara Spader.

He always had a ready smile and a helping hand. His smile will be sorely missed.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 14th at 11:00 AM in St. John Paul II Church, 755 Central Avenue, Pawtucket. His calling hours will be on Friday, prior to the Mass, from 10:00-10:30 AM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
