Stephen  J. Cetola, 76, of Cumberland, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Sharon (Travis) Cetola. They were happily married for 55 years. Steve was born in Fall River, MA, and grew up in Ocean Grove until moving with his wife to Pawtucket, until he moved to his daughters in Cumberland. He was the son of the late Alphonse and Evelyn (Forgette) Cetola. He was a navy veteran of the Vietnam Era.

Steve worked in manufacturing and has been happily retired for many years. Steve and his wife spent the winter in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where his family, especially his grandchildren would come visit. He loved time on his motorcycle, animals of all kinds, and his greatest joy was his grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Tina Ptaszek and her husband Walter, and Nicholas Cetola and his wife Michelle, his grandchildren, Bryan Ptaszek, Jared Ptaszek, Kyle Ptaszek, Lucas Cetola, Joshua Ptaszek, and Amber Cetola. He also leaves his siblings, Michael Cetola and Christine DeCesare.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Visiting hours will be held Saturday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM, prior to the Service in the O'Neill Funeral Home.

The burial will be private.
