Shirley M. Quinn, 92, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Friday, March 18, 2022. She was the wife of the late John D. Quinn. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Mary (Alexian-Mitchell) Kingsbury. Shirley lived most of her life in Pawtucket.
She is survived by her children, Annie Carpenter and her husband Harry, Susan Vetri, Michael Quinn and his wife Eileen, Christopher Quinn and his partner Jacqueline Haggerty, Mary Webb and her husband Michael, Donald Quinn and his wife Julie, William Quinn and his wife Jill, and Peter Quinn. She was affectionately known as "Narny" and leaves her 17 grandchildren, Kerrilyn Chew, Kelsey Chew, Kristy Vetri and her fiancé Shawn Kerwin, Brian Vetri and his wife Jess, Sean Sullivan, Ryan Quinn and his wife Jaime, Mikhaela Ricci, Kiela Daley and her husband Derick, Lindsey Rutkowski and her husband Dave, Austin Webb and his wife Arielle, Michael Webb and his fiancé' Lindsey Doster, Christopher Quinn, Kennedy Quinn, Mitchell Quinn, Carly Quinn, Taylor Quinn, and Jonathan Quinn; her 21 great grandchildren, Kinich Chew, Sage Kerwin, Jace Kerwin, Cecelia Vetri, Olivia Vetri, Delilah Vetri, Appelina Vetri, Raegan Quinn, Conor Quinn, Brynlee Ricci, Cameron Daley, Braedon Daley, Josslyn Daley, Austin Daley, Rozlyn Daley, Christian Rutkowski, Ave' Rutkowski, Noel Rutkowski, Dawson Rutkowski, Sawyer Rutkowski, and Quinn Webb. She leaves her sisters, Elizabeth DeCosta and Lorraine McShane and her husband James, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Sr. Bernadette (de St. Jean Baptiste, ISP) and the sister of the late Isabel Bazinet, William Kingsbury, and Arlene Murray.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, March 24th at 10 AM in Saint Cecilia Church of St. John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Avenue, Pawtucket.
The burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Shirley may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
