Rosella Perry, of Pawtucket, passed peacefully into eternal life, on February 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John Perry. Rosella was born in Coventry, RI, the daughter of the late Leonard Trahan and Rose Alma (Ferland) Trahan. She was a homemaker and an owner of Perry's Liquors, in Pawtucket.
She enjoyed making meals for her family and teaching them how to cook "just like Mom"! One of her favorite past times was hanging with her daughters watching her favorite sports teams, the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots, especially when TB12 was the QB. Rosella loved having her grandchildren around and looked forward to their funny life stories and jokes. She was a woman who will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her laughter. She was a strong, kind and loving mother and person.
Mrs. Perry is survived by her children, John Perry and his wife Melanie of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, Deborah MacKay, of Pawtucket, Sandra Gauthier and her late husband Mark, of Pawtucket, and JoAnn Perry and her husband Nathan Choiniere of Pawtucket, as well as her many grand and great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial for Rosella on Wednesday, February 15th at 10:00AM in St. John Paul II Parish Church, 755 Central Avenue, Pawtucket. Her calling hours will be Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:30AM prior to the Mass, in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
