Rose M. Parker, 78, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Friday, November 18, 2022. She was the beloved wife of George Parker Jr. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Ovila and Loretta (Johnson) Gagnon. Rose was a lifelong volunteer for various organizations in Pawtucket. She loved the time she spent with her family especially, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Charles Parker, Donna Ravo, Naomi Alexander, and George Parker III. She also leaves fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, her brother, George Gagnon, and her sister, Yvette Arnold. She was the mother of the late Steven Parker and Thomas Parker. She was also the sister of the late Armand Gagnon, Rita Navarro, Eileen Gagnon, Blanche Scanlon, Loretta Navarro, and Ovila Gagnon.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, November 26 th at 10:00 AM in Saint Teresa Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours will be held Friday, November 25 th from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Vincent de Paul Society , in memory of Rose, would be greatly appreciated.
