Obituary

Ronald Scott Mossman, 65, of Cumberland RI, fell asleep in Christ on June 13th, 2024.

Ronald [Ron] was born on May 10th, 1959 to A. Lester Mossman and Mary [Yarossi] Mossman in Newton, MA. In 1977, Ron graduated from Natick High School, in Natick, MA.

Ron began his career at Natick Labs in Natick, MA, before moving on to Waters in Wayland, MA. After that, he would build his prized speakers at Allison Acoustics in Framingham, MA. Then, he would meet his future wife while working at Suburbanite in Saxonville, MA. Afterwards, he would work at Digital in Marlboro, MA. Finally finishing with his full time employment at ThermoFisher Scientific in Franklin, MA before "retiring", as he put it. Afterwards, he filled his time as a driver/monitor working with special needs at Tellstone & Son, in Douglas, MA.

In 1987, Ron married Renee Lozeau. Ron and Renee went on to have two children, Andrew and Amanda.

In 1991, Ron became a Christadelphian when he made a commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ in putting on his saving name through baptism.

Ron is a beloved father, husband, and brother. He always thought of others during his day-to-day activities. He enjoyed joking around and getting a smile out of everyone he interacted with. Ron loved his sports. He was a loyal Boston fan, but the Boston Bruins were his favorite. Watching Bobby Orr score the flying goal on his 11th birthday, while he watched the game with his father, was one of his most cherished childhood memories. Ron was a soft spoken man, but he loved those that were fortunate enough to be a part of his life with all of his heart. Even while he battled through sickness and injuries, he would rarely complain and still take any opportunity to get a laugh out of anyone around him.

Ron was predeceased by his sister Janet Ahern, his mother Mary and his father A. Lester Mossman. He is survived by his wife, Renee Mossman, his two children, Andrew Mossman and Amanda Gaudet, his grandchildren, Riley Gaudet and Adalyn Gaudet, and his brother James Mossman.
