Roger J. Lepine, 89, a lifelong Pawtucket resident, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on June 7, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Clarita (Lachowsky) Lepine. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Ovila and Florestine (Laporte) Lepine. Roger was an air force veteran. He was a supervisor for the Pawtucket Parks and Recreation Department for the City of Pawtucket for many years before retiring.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Mark Lepine and his spouse Kathy Lepine, Alan Lepine and his spouse Lisa Lepine, Carol Daddona and her spouse Miles Daddona, Lynn Kolek and her spouse Kevin Kolek; his loving grandchildren, Brandon Kolek, Tyler Kolek, Marcus Daddona, Chris Daddona, Erin Hayes, Kathryn Lepine, Kyle Lepine, and Jeffrey Lepine. He also leaves two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Eli Hayes. He was the brother of the late Donald Lepine.
From a young age, Roger played the guitar and was a talented musician, playing in bands over the years. In more recent times, he was a part of his church choir singing and playing his music.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, June 12th from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 13th at 10:00 AM in Saint Cecila Church of St. John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Avenue, Pawtucket.
Burial with military honors will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
