Robert F. Selema, 76, of Smithfield, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Koziol) Selema. Robert was an army veteran of the Vietnam War. Robert graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Johnson and Wales University. He was a member of the Teamsters, mostly driving for the US Postal Service.

He was the loving father of Robert J. Selema and his wife Nicole, his brother, John Selema, his sisters, Alice Ross, and Betty Ricci. Robert was the cherished grandfather of Jared and Jacob Selema. He was the father of the late Darlene Selema-Leddy.

When Robert was not working, he enjoyed playing men's softball and coaching his daughter Darlene's softball team. He also really had a passion for cars. Robert was an avid woodworker and loved model trains.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, April 12th at 11:00 AM in Saint Stanislaus Church, 174 Harris Avenue, Woonsocket. Burial with military honors will be Saint Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA.

Visiting hours are on Thursday, April 11th from 4:00-7:00 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
