Robert A. Cheli, 65, of Pine Grove St, Pawtucket died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the Memorial Hospital of RI in Pawtucket. He was the former husband of Marion (Savone) Cheli.
Mr. Cheli was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Alfred and Beatrice (Silvia) Cheli. He was a self employed broker for various life insurance companies for many years.
Besides his former wife he is survived by his daughter Lori-Ann Zalabowski and her husband Peter of North Kingstown, his sons Steven Cheli of Colchester CT, and Alfred Cheli of Buffalo NY, and five grandchildren.
The funeral for Mr. Cheli will be Friday, May 1 at 10:00am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa"s Church, 358 Newport Ave, Pawtucket at 11:00am. His burial will be in Mt. St. Mary"s Cemetery. The calling hours for Mr. Cheli will be Friday morning from 9:30am in the funeral home.
