Robert J. Brown, 78, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 15, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Claire (Tondreault) Brown. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late John and Lillian (Carline) Brown. Bob was an army veteran (Ret. Sergeant) of the Vietnam War. He was detective for the City of Pawtucket for 35 years, retiring in 2000. Bob was also a sheriff for the RI Traffic Tribunal for 16 years. He was an avid PC Basketball and New England Patriots fan. He enjoyed traveling to Aruba with his late wife Claire. He was also a Game of Thrones fan. He loved attending his grandchildren's sporting events.

Bob is survived by his children, Kerrie A. Brown and Robert J. Brown II and his wife Kelly. He also leaves two grandchildren, Emma Brown-Carley and Bobby Brown III, his sisters, Carol Santos and Edna Bettey. He was the brother of the late John Brown and Lillian Donovan.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visiting hours Monday, March 21st from 4-6 PM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.

A prayer service will follow the visitation at 6 PM.
