Rita M. (Robert) Keneally, 75, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 26, 2024. She was the loving wife of Edward Keneally for 39 years. Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Lucien and Rita (Blanchet) Robert. She was proceeded in death by her daughter Sandra (Mongeon) Guay and brother Roland Robert.

Rita received her degree in Accounting from Bryant University and worked for CVS pharmacy at their corporate headquarters for over 30 years before retiring in 2010. She enjoyed everything in the color purple and gardening. When she could no longer garden outdoors, she brought her plants in. She spent hours crocheting and knitting blankets for family and friends, including her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rita was fond of her frequent trips out with her sisters and close friends, especially when they went to the zoo or to the movies.

Besides her husband, she is also survived by her two sisters, Lucienne Calande and Suzanne Michaud; her two brothers, Norman Robert and Ron Robert; her son, Eric Mongeon, his wife Kerstin; her stepsons, Jarred Keneally, his wife Allison, and Jay Keneally; along her cherished grandchildren, Kyana (Guay) Baldwin and her husband Brent, Kobe Guay, Nicholas Mongeon, Jason Mongeon, Ian Keneally, Keira Keneally, and Isabella Keneally; and three beloved great-grandchildren, Kassidae Rita-Ann Baldwin, Sutter Baldwin, and Lucia Baldwin.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 31st at 11:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Rd., Cumberland, RI. A private burial will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be from held from 8:30 - 10:30 AM prior to the Mass, on Tuesday morning at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Rd., Cumberland, RI.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Rita's name may be made to St. Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Rd. Cumberland RI 02864.
