Richard E. Chicoine, Sr., 78 of Norton, MA passed into eternal life on June 9, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was at home surrounded by his loving family at the time of his death. Born in Central Falls, RI, Richard was the son of the late Leonel and Estelle (Philibert) Chicoine.

Richard was the beloved husband of Sheryl (Mannolini) Chicoine for over 41 years. He leaves his children, son Richard E. Chicoine, Jr. and his wife Lisa, of RI, and his daughter Tracy Chicoine and her husband Daniel Qvarnstrom, of CT. He leaves his siblings Gloria Martino of NY, Denise (Gary) Collins of RI, Celeste (David) Leary of MA, and Carl Chicoine of RI. He also leaves his sister-in-law Sharon (Terrence) Burgess of MA and brother-in-law William Corbett of MA. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Richard Martino, Sr. of NY and his sister-in-law Susan Corbett of MA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Richard was an avid football fan and had a passion for cars, motorcycles, golf, cribbage, gardening and carpentry. His knowledge, firm determination, and innate ability to accomplish any task made him a true master craftsman.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 23rd at 11:00 AM in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. Visitation will be on Friday, June 23rd from 9:00-10:30 AM prior to Mass, in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
