Philomena Patras, 90, of North Attleborough, and formerly of Cumberland, RI, passed into eternal life surrounded by family on Monday, September 25, 2023. She was the wife of the late Norman Patras. Born in Manville, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Filomena (Da Camara) Seringa.

After she married, she was a homemaker for many years; later she returned to the workforce, working at AT Cross in Lincoln for 12 years before retiring.  She loved spending time with her family, going out to eat, going to the movies, and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Making puzzles, doing word searches, and reading were favorite pastimes.  She also enjoyed spending time with her friend, Kathy, swapping books and going on errands together.

She is survived by her children, Norman Patras of Wareham, MA, Jane Girard of Burrillville, and Carol Meunier of Lincoln, her grandchildren, Kayla, Ryan, Sarah, and Jared, and her great-grandchildren, Elissa and Alex.

The visiting hours for Philomena will be held on Saturday, October 7th,  from 10:30 AM - 12:00 noon in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland. A brief service will be held at noon. The burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or to Beacon Hospice, 182 North Main Street, Fall River, MA 02720 in Philomena's memory, would be greatly appreciated.
