Philip J. Fay, 88, formerly of Pawtucket died Friday, April 23, 2010. Mr. Fay was the husband of the late Monica (Dunning) Fay.
Mr. Fay was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late John and Agnes (Boland) Fay. He was a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy where he served for over 20 years. He then worked in security for the City of Pawtucket and was a machinist at Hanley Mfg.
Mr. Fay is survived by his daughter Monica Fay of Lincoln, his grandson, Matthew Fay of Lincoln, his brothers, James Fay of Narragansett and Robert Fay of Pawtucket, his sister Ellen Shannon of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral for Mr. Fay will be Wednesday at 9:00am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph"s Church, Walcott St, Pawtucket at 10:00am.
