Peter H. Adam, 87, of Cumberland, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline (Tanguay) Adam. They had been happily married for 62 years. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Hugh and Margaret (Cruden) Adam. Peter was an U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a line-o-type operator in the printing industry for many years before retiring. He enjoyed playing pool, dancing, gardening, and sharing his tomatoes and other vegetables with his neighbors. He and his wife were always ready to take a trip to Atlantic City or Foxwoods Casino for some gambling. Peter was a member of the America Legion, Post #14, Cumberland and the Elks, Lodge #2359, Smithfield.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Therese Brousseau and brother-in-law Robert Tanguay. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was the brother of the late Robert Adam, Mary Chartier, Lavina Bird, and Agnes Shaw McDonald.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 6th at 11:00 AM in Saint Aidan – Saint Patrick Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Visiting hours are on Thursday from 9:00-10:30 AM, prior to the Mass in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
