Pauline M. Patras, 93, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 16, 2023. She was the wife of the late Frederick Patras, Sr. Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Hector and Blanche (Lacouture) Gadoury. Pauline worked at Cumberland Town Hall for many years and later as assistant manager at Greater Providence Trust in Cumberland before retiring. Pauline enjoyed many card games, Rummikub, and crossword puzzles, but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her five children: Frederick (Beth) Patras Jr., Kathleen Robert (companion Peter Gomes), James Patras, Gary (Rita) Patras, and Cindy (Bruce) Gauvin.  Pauline was the grandmother to ten grandchildren: Jason, Jennifer, Morgan, Kimberly, Richard, Ashley, Katelyn, Kaylee, Ryan, and Alyssa. She was the great grandmother to many great grandchildren. She was the sister to the late John, Joseph, Thaddee, James, Frances, and Gabriel. Pauline was mother-in-law to the late Richard Robert Sr.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 21st at 10:00 AM in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours will be prior to mass, from 8:30 – 9:30 AM, in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
