February 17, 1938 - June 30, 2023

Muriel E. (Gilbane) Brule', 85, passed away peacefully Friday, June 30th at the Grandview Nursing Home, Cumberland. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald R. Brule' for 59 years. Muriel was the daughter of the late James P. and Imelda (Riel) Gilbane.

She is survived by her loving children; Davide Brule' and his wife Karen, of Peoria, AZ, Gregory Brule' and his wife Catherine of North Attleboro, MA, and Jeffrey Brule' and his wife Judith of Deltona, FL. Muriel was the sibling of the late Brendan F. Gilbane and Lucille (Gilbane) Archer. She was the loving and devoted mother of the late Karen Ann Brule' for 50 years. Muriel also leaves 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She studied at Sargent College, Boston and graduated from Katherine Gibbs, Providence. She then worked as the office manager at Dr. Charles Herzig's Chiropractor practice on Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. She was devoted to St. Joseph's Church on Walcott Street, Pawtucket, serving on many committees, taught CCD, sang in the folk group and was a Eucharistic Minister. Muriel will be missed tremendously by all who had the privilege of being touched by her.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, July 10th at 11:00 AM in Saint Joseph Church of Holy Family Parish, 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket. The burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Continuum Hospice, 1350 Division Road, Suite 205, West Warwick, RI, 02893, would be greatly appreciated.
