Mollie C. Leduc, of Boynton Beach, Florida, and formerly of Pawtucket, passed into eternal life on May 25, 2023. She was the loving spouse of Leo Leduc. Mrs. Leduc was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Luther E. Lineberger and Madeline L. (Drew) Lineberger. She was employed at the Miriam Hospital in Providence before she and Leo moved to Florida.
She will be best remembered for her famous meatballs. A long-time resident of Pawtucket, RI, she enjoyed donating her time to helping others by working at her church food bank as well as bringing communion to those who were hospitalized. Even after moving to Florida to enjoy their retirement, she often traveled back home to RI to spend time with family and her many friends.
Besides her husband Leo, Mollie is survived by her children, Howard Spader Jr. and his wife Celine of Attleboro, MA, Sheila Barry and her husband Dennis of Pawtucket, and Virginia Palmer and her wife Jean of West Greenwich. She also leaves her grandchildren, Andrew Spader, Alyssa and Dennis Barry III, Michelle Murray, David Coleman, Rachael Spader, Caitlin Dumont, Jeremy Palmer, and Jacob Souza.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Memorial Mass to celebrate Mollie's life on Friday, June 9th at 10:00 AM in St. Raymond's Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence. Burial will follow at Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 8th from 5:00–7:00 PM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
