Mitchell Massiwer

Mitchell Massiwer, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, passed into eternal life on September 18, 2026. He was the former husband of Elsie Massiwer.

Mitchell was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, the son of the late George Massiwer and Sarah (Sapag) Massiwer. He owned and operated the West Wind in Seekonk for over forty years.

He is survived by his children: Sharon Rivard, Cindy Casler, Rachel Guertin, Mitchell Massiwer, George Massiwer, Michael Massiwer, and Paul Massiwer. Mitchell also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, his sister Diana Hashway, and his sister-in-law Mary Massiwer. He was the father of the late David Massiwer, and the brother of the late Emile Massiwer, Abraham Massiwer, John Massiwer, Sophie Hallal, and Lily Massiwer.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 24th at 11:00 AM at the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Calling hours will take place prior to the service on Thursday morning from 8:30 to 11:00 AM.
