Michelle A. (Gagnon) Curry, of Pawtucket, passed into eternal life on March 16, 2024. She was the loving wife of Patrick Curry. They had been married twenty five years. Michelle was born in Providence, the daughter of Robert Gagnon and the late Carol (Moore) Gagnon. She was a homemaker.
Besides her husband Patrick, Michelle is survived by her 3 children, Amanda Perry and her husband Andrew of Warwick, Zachary Curry and his wife Cassandra of Pawtucket and Destinee Curry and her fiance Rob of Pawtucket. She also leaves her sisters and brother, Tina Harris, Dawn Patterson, and Tommy Cullen Jr., as well as four grandchildren. Michelle was the mother of the late Patrick Curry Jr.
Michelle, mom, nonnie, and nana. She was a mother, a wife, a grandmother, a sister, an aunt and a fighter. She was 100% a strong warrior who definitely fought her battles and never gave up. Words cannot describe how amazing this woman was. She wore her heart on her sleeve and didn't care who saw it. She really was the life of the party no matter where she went, everyone loved her. She raised 3 beautiful children (Amanda, Zachary, & Destinee) with her husband (Patrick). She has 4 grandchildren (Jordan, Kaitlyn, Hunter, & Charlotte). She also had the honor of raising Kaitlyn and Hunter with Patrick.
Her favorite things were having the whole family around; her Thursday night dinners, going out with her pink sisters, and going out with friends. She always had the support of all of her friends, whether they were lifetime friends, survivor sisters, or new friends. She went through a rough 13 1/2 years, but she never complained. When she went through chemo, radiation, surgery, or whatever it was, she saw the positives. She said until the very end, she was never going to stop fighting and she didn't. Cancer didn't win this battle, Michelle won.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 23rd at 10:00 AM in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Gloria Gemma Foundation , 249 Roosevelt Ave., Suite 201, Pawtucket RI 02860, in Michelle's honor, would be greatly appreciated.
