Michael W. Jolin, 70, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully Friday, September 27, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Diane (Renaud) Jolin. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Rose (Longtin) Jolin.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Andrew Jolin and his wife Hina, his brother, Steven Jolin, and his grandchildren, Luc and Isaac Jolin.

Michael received a PhD from Brown University, and was the superintendent of schools in Thompson, Connecticut, as well as several RI communities, retiring in 2017. Michael loved reading and being outdoors - running, biking, basking in the sun, or playing with his grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visiting hours on Saturday, October 5th, from 12:00 - 3:00 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland. The funeral and burial will be private.
