Michael H. Cassidy Sr., of Wakefield, passed into eternal rest on November 9, 2022. He was the husband of the late Sandra (Rudd) Cassidy. Michael was born in South Kingstown, the son of the late James A. Cassidy and Marjorie (Beaulieu) Cassidy. He was a United States Navy Veteran. After serving his country in the Navy, Michael was employed by New England Telephone as a lineman for many years. Michael was an honorable man, and loved to meet new people. He knew how to make people smile, laugh, and to get people to open up and talk. Michael was also very knowledgeable, he was a noble father, and he was loved by many.

Michael is survived by his son, Michael H. Cassidy Jr. and his companion Jessica, of East Greenwich. He also leaves his sister, Maureen Munroe of Florida.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Friday, November 18th at 10:00 AM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., Pawtucket. Burial with full military honors will follow at 11:30 AM at RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
