May Azar

May Azar, 95, of Central Falls, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Wednesday, February 11, 2026. She was the wife of the late Joseph Azar Jr. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Raghima (Cabbabe) Arage. May graduated from Central Falls High School in 1947 and was the class Salutatorian. She worked for Gardner and Whitely Insurance as a bookkeeper for eleven years and later spent nine years working at the Rhode Island Student Loan Authority before retiring.

She was the beloved mother of Joseph Azar III and his wife Bernadette, Laurie Corriveault and her husband David, and Brian Azar and his wife Eileen, all of Lincoln; She is also survived by her brother, Edward Arage and her sister, Shirley Sullivan.  She also leaves nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Norman Arage and Albert Arage.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 17th at 10:00 AM in Saint Basil The Great Church, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln. The burial will be private. Visitation will be held from 9:00 -10:00 AM, prior to the Service in Saint Basil The Great Church.
