Maureen Pelletier, 86, of Cumberland, passed away after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. She passed at home, peacefully, with her family by her side Friday, February 28, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Richard Pelletier for 64 years. Born in Newport and raised in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Dominic Joseph and Alice (Ryan) Noonan. Maureen was a payroll clerk for the RI Department of Labor for many years before retiring in 2005.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Alison Petrolino, Kayla Pelletier, and Laurie Cunha, her grandchildren, Trevor Feeken, Mackenzie Feeken, Sydney Broman, Cameron Monges, and Aubrey Monges. She also leaves her siblings, Judith Moriarty and James Noonan. She was the sister of the late Joan Monaghan.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 11:30 AM in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 - 11:00 AM, prior to the Mass in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
