Maureen A. McCabe, 85, passed away on August 22, 2022. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Jones) McCabe.

She attended Classical High School and received her A.B. from Salve Regina in 1959. She taught in the Providence school system as well as in Prince George's County, Maryland. In 1971 she received her MSW degree from the University of Connecticut and served as a social worker for the State of RI for many years before her retirement.

She was predeceased by her sister Susan McCabe and is survived by a number of devoted cousins.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Friday, September 2nd, at 11:00AM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. The visitation will be prior to the service on Friday, in the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00AM. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Riverside will follow.
