Matthew P. Gautreau, 54, of Lincoln, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Born in Woonsocket, he was the beloved son of Lucien and Barbara (Gillooley) Gautreau. Matthew lived most of his life in Cumberland; he was a proud "Mounty" and graduated in 1985. He then attended Western New England University where he studied architectural engineering. He also attended Dean College. Matthew was an independent contractor for the past several years.

Besides his parents, he leaves two brothers, Christopher (Jessica) of Lisbon, NH, and Jonathan (Denise) of San Jose, CA, two nieces, and a nephew. The Gautreau family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the love, tenderness, and care that was given to Matthew, especially Pamela, and his dear friend Kim.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 8th at 10 AM in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland.

Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
