Obituary

Mary Francis Senecal, 83, of Pawtucket, RI was peacefully laid to rest on the morning of October 25, 2022. Mary was born November 2, 1938 the daughter of John McKenna and Charlotte Trombley McKenna. She was married to the late Walter E. Senecal, Sr. and was a sister to John P. McKenna. Mary's greatest joy was her family both near and far. She always cherished getting the whole group together every Christmas Eve. Visits from her nieces and nephews always brought a smile to her face.

Regularly putting others first, Mary worked in nursing taking care of the elderly before she retired to spend more time with her growing family. She enjoyed her vacations, often taking cruises to the tropics. As a lifelong resident of the Ocean State, she loved the beach as well as dancing, trips to the casino, and candy was always her guilty pleasure. An avid stock car racing fan, Mary was often found taking in a Nascar race or enjoying her favorite local short track, Seekonk Speedway. Mary was a firecracker and found joy in things no matter what she was doing.

We celebrate her life because for us there are no goodbyes, only see you later...wherever we are she will always remain in our hearts.

Mary is preceded by her sister Charlotte McWilliams.
