Mary Elaine Rahill, 89, of Lincoln and formerly of Pawtucket, passed into eternal life on January 16, 2023.  She was the loving wife of the late Robert J. Rahill.  They were happily married for 58 years. "Elaine" was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Michael Leonard and Mabel (Kelly) Leonard. She was the Director of Fund Raising and Public Relations at the former Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket for many years.  Upon retirement from Memorial she then volunteered at South County Hospital.

Mrs. Rahill is survived by her children, Bob Rahill and his wife Lori, of Charlestown, RI, Tom Rahill and his wife Lauren of Atlanta, GA, Mary Tomlinson and her husband Dave of Shelton, CT, and Cathy Rahill of North Providence, RI. She is also survived by her sister, Madeline Lundgren and her husband Ralph. She was predeceased by her sister, Miriam Byrnes of Suffern, NY. Elaine had seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Elaine was happiest spending time with her family. She loved being a Nana and watching her grandchildren grow up and have their own children.  Her favorite activity as she got older was to go out to dinner with her children and her "supper club", which she was a member of for about 50 years. She was always smiling and made her way through life with an unbelievably positive attitude.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph's Church, 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket, RI. Calling hours are on Friday morning from 9:00-10:30 AM, prior to the Mass, in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.

The Burial will be private.
