Mary Jane Flatley passed into eternal life on December 9, 2022. Mary Jane was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Captain William J. Flatley, Pawtucket Police Department, retired, and Mary (Dalton) Flatley. She received her BA from Providence College and her Master's degree from Salve Regina College; she was a director and manager at Verizon for many years, retiring after a distinguished career of over 30 years. In her retirement, she reveled in living next to the beach, her favorite place to be, and in the care, lodging, and placement of Golden Retrievers, her favorite canine friends.

Mary Jane is survived by her siblings, William J. Flatley Jr., Patricia Flatley, Regina Flatley and Catherine M. Flatley Nachmann, several nieces and nephews, and a great-nephew. She was predeceased by Ann Marie Cabral, beloved Flatley sister.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 74 Simmons Road, Little Compton. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Little Compton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Jane's memory may be made to Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue of Hudson, MA or Team Goldendog , or a charity of the donor's choice.
