Mary E. (Mae) Dugas, at the age of 100 years, 10 months, passed away on February 24, 2022, at the South County Nursing Home in Kingstown, RI. Mae was the loving wife of the late Edward J. Dugas with whom she celebrated 64 years of marriage. With the exception of the last three years, Mae had resided in Pawtucket all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary J. (Sweeney) Brien.

In the early years, Mae worked for Fram Corp, New York Lace Store, Loring's Studio, Hargraves Studio and Manning-Heffern Funeral Home. Mae was a member of St. Teresa's Church in Pawtucket, RI.

Mae is survived by her son, E. Brien Dugas, M.D. of Wakefield, RI, and daughter, Joanne (Dugas) Beauvais of Andover, OH, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Christopher S. Beauvais, and sisters, Madeline Morin, and Lillian Thurston.

Mae will be buried next to her husband in St. Mary's Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be held at the Costigan ONeill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., Pawtucket, on Saturday, June 4 ^th at 11AM.
