Mary E. Costigan, 95, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Saturday, October 16, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Milton "Chick" Costigan. They had been married for 40 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Burns) Wall. A longtime resident of Pawtucket, Mary was the office manager for the A. T. Costigan & Sons Funeral Home, now Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home for many years before retiring. She was a longtime member of the former Sacred Heart Church (now Holy Family Parish) where she was a founding member of the church guild, a lector and a Eucharistic minister.

She is survived by her children, Anne Marie Pailthorpe and her husband David, Neal Costigan and his wife Anne, Paul Costigan and his wife Rosemary, and Raymond Costigan and his wife Gael, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Lucille Burke, Louise Spinella, John and Robert Wall.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 22nd at 10 AM in Saint Joseph Church of Holy Family Parish, 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket.

Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.

Visiting hours are Thursday from 4-8 PM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
