Mary R. Allen, 95, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026. She was the wife of the late George T. Allen. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Elias and Margaret (Barsa) Meketsy. Mary had worked in the textile industry for many years before retiring. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending summers with her family at the beach house at Rocky Point.

She is survived by her children, Charles T. Allen, and Margaret Perreault; her grandchildren, Brenda Perreault, James Perreault, Jimmy Allen, Tammy Allen, Scott Allen, Brandy Gilbert, and Kimberly Gilbert. She also leaves her siblings, Joseph Meketsy and Georgette Morse Osburn, eight great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Linda Gilbert and the sister of the late Loorese Issa, John Meketsy, and George Meketsy.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Saturday, March 21, 20026 at 3:00 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O’Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. The burial will be private. 

Visiting hours are on Saturday, prior to the Service, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O’Neill Funeral Home.
