Marie Jeanne Joly, 86, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully Monday, January 27, 2025. Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Alice (Desrosiers) Savoie. She was the loving wife to Albert E. Joly for 68 years.

Marie "MJ" worked as a stitcher and seamstress in the textile Industry for many years prior to retiring.

Besides her husband Albert, she is survived by her children, Diane Joly and Rachel O'Connor. Marie was the sister of Omer Dubois, and Nancy Rivard. She was predeceased by her siblings, the late Betty Fiscalletti, Roger Dubois, and Richard Dubois. Marie was the proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and great grandmother to seven great grandchildren.

Marie Jeanne was deeply loved by her family and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

The family will have a private celebration of life.
