Maria (Soares) Saraiva, 99, of Pawtucket passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Francisco Saraiva. Born in Darei, Portugal she was the daughter of the late Virginia (Silva) and Manuel Soares.

Maria is Survived by her two children, daughter, Connie Pereira Saraiva and her husband, Mario Pereira, and her son, Eduardo Saraiva and his wife Stephanie. She is also survived by her three grandchildren Anabel, Michael, and Blake. Maria also leaves behind great grandchildren, Sofia, Julian, and Mila, as well as her niece, Teresa Pires and her family.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Drive, Cumberland, RI. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 153 Curran Road, Cumberland, RI.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 9:00 – 10:30 AM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI, prior to the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Maria's memory may be made to the American Kidney Fund .
